"If the person next to you seems happy with a smile on their face, are they truly happy? Do they really know how to face reality?"
Life is a strange journey. From a distance, people often look happy and free. A person with a job constantly dreams of freedom, while someone unemployed thinks, "If I just had a job, my life would be so much better!" The person with the job wonders, "How long do I have to keep doing this?" while the jobless one believes, "If I just got one opportunity, a little security, all my problems would be solved!"
But is it really that simple? Are you truly happy where you are right now in life? One working person looks at another and thinks, "They've got it all!" But someone going through real struggle sees that easy life as nothing more than a dream. And even the successful might silently wonder, “Am I really free, even now?”
When someone who's been through years of pain finally finds a little shelter, their eyes show only peace and relief. But do successful people always remember what that long road of pain felt like?

Life constantly changes, and everyone experiences happiness differently. Some people feel joy just watching a bird fly, while others can achieve countless things and still feel empty. We might smile and say, “No one’s happier than me!” but behind that smile, there can be hidden struggles. The truth is, peace comes when we learn to take life simply. The less we desire, the more peace we find. Real peace comes when we stop comparing ourselves to others.
You have the power to change your own destiny. If you can realize that effort and a willing heart can shape your future, things will start to shift. And if you're grateful, then Allah's blessings will never leave your side. But if you take everything for granted, you’ll end up ruining your own path.
It’s important to understand that staying away from what we don’t need and ignoring things that don’t matter can help us protect our peace. Sometimes, just being patient and searching for peace inside yourself leads to the biggest successes in life.
If you can lower your expectations and stay satisfied with what you have right now, happiness will never leave you. Some parts of life are beyond our control—like our birth, our body, or our mind’s abilities. These are all decided by a higher power. But that power is never unfair. It’s up to us to try and shape our fate.
And always remember, don’t stress over what didn’t happen. Be grateful for what you have. If you stay on the right path, trouble won’t break you. Tough times may come, but they’re just tests. Eventually, good days will arrive. Just be patient and keep trying.
Happiness will come when you find peace in the little things. And the moment you truly realize that the life you have right now is actually the most valuable gift, that’s when real happiness begins.
